I've been sitting here for 1+ hour..... clicking on different websites to look for a good deal.
Yes, I'm looking for a pc AGAIN...
since i've got my pay this month due to annual leave and not using it at all, i'm thinking of investing a partial of my pay to a new PC.
bear in mind, i'm not a freaking rich person who is willing to dump money into a pc. It's my 4th PC. YES... 4th PC within 2 years... freaking crazy.
Oh well, first PC got screwed up badly and i dunno why.... got sent all around the world to get it fixed. it's processing slowly now and i'm currently using it in Malaysia...
Second PC keeps dying and i dunno why again... been sending it back to the seller every weekend ever since i bought that pc...
And after giving up my 2nd pC, i swapped it with a custom built PC for 400 bucks cheaper... it kept giving me this stupid 'mup.sys' error... and i had to reformat my whole damn pc!!! i couldn't leave it on for too long because it's making those freaking annoying noise. arghh.... it's dead again now for don't know what reason again.....
F it! i'm gonna get another pc now. however, after browsing through so many pc-related websites, the best pc is still a custom built PC. But HOW?
i've got a 200gb sata II HDD now, with 1g RAM + DVD Writer... n it's still not running smoothly. should i invest on another one???
Dell is having some promotions... it's all more than 1k!!! argh.. i don't need a monitor, i don't need a keyboard and i don't need a mouse! i've got wired keyboard+mouse and I also have wireless ones!
All i need is a decent PC which i can use to chat, to watch my movies, to store my movies and most importantly... STABLE and not giving me, a pc idiot, so much trouble!!!
i feel so helpless everytime my PC got F up, and i feel bad asking for help...
how.... =(
i've got a broken pc, a broken camera.... all cost me $$ to repair or to find a replacement. =((

Frustrated...
Inconvenience
I've been staying at home rotting since i became cacat... wake up in the morning, have a super light breakfast, then bum around doing nothing, have a light lunch, watch tv, catch a short 30 mins afternoon nap, wake up, shower, have light dinner, tv again, then Zzzz.... around 11pm.
Note that i said "light" for every meal.... bcuz i am not moving too much and i don't wanna gain weight! that's why i have been having very little meal.
Time is running out. Next week i'll be flying back to NZ. and back to my busy boring working life! ><
Not enough shopping yet. I was tidying up my stuff yesterday and was thinking of what to get still. The list goes on and on.... hmm..... i'm really cacat here. cant walk much + no sense of direction here + no public transport = grrrrr...... i've decided to ask my parents to drop me off at 1 utama or mid valley early next week and i'll shop for the whole day all by myself till they are free to pick me up. =) i think shop alone at your own pace is the best... =)
anyone going into KL city??? i need to get some pirated movies + some cheapo stuff.... =)
bored... it's only 10am, i'm barely awake for 1.5 hours... now i'm yawning again.... damn it!!!!
oh in case you guys din know about this....
i can't move into newmarket apartment next weekend. Some documentation difficulties have delayed the whole handing over process. >< Now gotta stay in the good old ellerslie room. =) hehe... however, this time i won't be having as much fun, coz my bloody f-up pc is dead (as usual)... aiii.........

Oh dear..... Clumsy Carol
Like what i mentioned before, "suey" things alwez happened on me on my burfday. >< yesterday was my chinese bday, well, i stayed home the whole day... until i decided to follow my family to the clubhouse to do some exercise...
Everything went well until when we were on our way home. i somehow fell down at the main entrance of the gym.
NOw my knees are injured..... everytime i bend my knees, i can see my real flesh.... coz no more skin ma... YIKES!!! if you interested, i have got photos.... was thinking of putting it on my blog, but it's too yucky... ><
hmm.... showered and applied really strong ointment on my knees.... now after wrapping up my wound, i'm going to sleep... Zzzz.....

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR
This festive season used to be my favourite festive season. Unfortunately, it is not as grand as before. No more playing fireworks, no more ang pow giving, no more lion dance… it’s just a plain family gathering. Everyone gather around and introducing the new members to the family… gossip gossip gossip… i'm well prepared to get bombed by my relatives AGAIN. they are never sick of asking the same old questions over n over again. i'm really speechless.... -___-

I’m starting to feel tired. I think it’s because I haven’t fully recharged my battery since I landed in Malaysia last Saturday. I’ll blame it on the terrible flight back home. Before I hop onto the plane, I was hoping that neither kids nor babies would be sitting around me so that I could have a nice long sleep. But damn it! There were 3 ah cha kids jumping around the whole freaking 10 hours journey… they were playing games, talking out loud, laughing out loud and worst of all, when they were bored of these things, they stared at me….. and oh well of cause I stared back!!! They were freaking annoying. I dare not complain because the dad looked like a terrorist and the mum had her face covered…. So yeah.... F R E A K Y…
Apart from these 3 monkeys, there were a few babies around me too… poor babies… they were crying non stop because they weren’t feeling comfy… I can understand that. Aww….
Anyway, conclusion is I had only 2 hours sleep. By the time I reached Malaysia, I was like a walking zombie… had a really nice dinner in Centrepoint and went back home to have early rest… Zzzz….
The next day, I woke up at 6.20am to accompany my mum to the church followed by grocery shopping in the wet market in PJ. I’ll attach some photos taken in the wet market later. Can’t seem to transfer photos from my cellphone to my bro’s pc via Bluetooth. ><
In the afternoon, we went to 1 utama to do our first round of shopping. Came home around 10pm.
My routine for Monday, Tuesday & today were the same. Woke up around 8.30am, did some housework, had lunch, then went shopping till around 9pm. -___- I bought heaps of stuff but I still feel like shopping. Haven’t gone to Sungei Wang yet… anyone keen to accompany me to KL city???? =) =) I’ll give you a big hug!!! *wink*
Shopping in Malaysia is just awesome! So many varieties, so cheap, so nice…. Hehehe… Sylvia park in Auckland just can’t be compared with 1 utama! Hahaha…. Am I right people?
Okay. I’m off to sleep. Really tired…. Zzzz…..
V Day
Valentines Day has just passed.
I spent my valentines day sitting at home. =) hehe… it’s more like a family day to me.
Anyway, speaking about valentines day… I met this young boy when I was choosing some nice bracelets and anklets for myself on Tuesday in Mid Valley shopping mall. He was asking the promoter whether if they sold any necklace with heart shape pendant. He also chose a pair of rings and asked the promoter to try it on so that he would have picked the right size. Haha! My evil mum then teased him and he was blushing after that because he was buying the ring and the necklace for someone that he likes… hahaha!!! This whole scene reminds me of those good old times back in high school. Hahaha!! High school girls are always anticipating the arrival of valentines day to judge your popularity in the school. Hahaha!!! I missed those silly days. =) *wink*
Another thing I noticed when I was doing my shopping in mid valley was that they had this campaign of sending out your message to your loved ones…. your love message will then be shown on big screens everywhere in the shopping mall. Some of these messages are sweet and some are just plain funny. Keke.. again, I’ll post the photos up later.
That’s about it for Valentines…. =) happy valentines to everyone… especially to my bf in NZ. =)

Before....
Just a quick update of my life….
Last Friday was my last day at work before I came back to Malaysia for Chinese New Year. (I arrived at 8pm Msia Time last Saturday) It’s so strange that until the very last minute I still couldn’t believe that I was leaving NZ for Malaysia for three weeks. Probably I was too busy with my work and trying to work crazily for the past few weeks to earn extra hours; that was why time just passed by so quickly that I really can’t imagine it!
Now sitting at home enjoying my holiday, I started having the feeling that time passed by real slow… really a huge contrast.
Anyway, I turned 23 two weeks ago. Thanks to Yan who bought the cake all the way from Howick, and thanks to Kev, Jeng, Janice, Marcus, Warren, Kenny & Mel for celebrating my birthday with me. Oh well, I did not expect much because similar to last year, I was busy moving again.
Oh yes, I finally moved out from the CBD to my bf’s tiny little room in Ellerslie. Well, I have to admit that it isn’t that bad living in Ellerslie apart from having to catch the same bus as most of the “ah cha” in this city because the bus that I’ve been catching back to Ellerslie from Newmarket is a bus that goes all the way down south to the ‘ah cha’ region. Oh yeah, a special thank you to Francis that offered to give me a ride to work every morning. =)
Since I moved to Ellerslie, I’ve been eating out. The best place that I went to was this viaduct restaurant called “Degree”. A few months ago after trying out their dessert deal for 5 bucks on a Tuesday night. I went onto their website and signed up to receive notification if there were any upcoming special deals. I was pretty surprised that on my birthday, they sent me a short email wishing me happy birthday and giving me a complimentary stonegrill main dish! I really have to say that the stonegrill is AWESOME!!! You guys should try it. It is super good…. And I also tried the entrée dish called “Seafood Chowder” which is also delicious!!! Oh man, I really missed the food…. ><
An unforgettable experience
Sorry if anyone felt offended. But I started to feel that it’s true that the day when I was born wasn’t a good day because I always experience some really “suey” stuff happened on me around my birthday.
Last Thursday when I was on my way to my uncle’s place, I got stopped by the police for the very first time since I got my drivers license in year 2000. Not bad huh? Oh well, I don’t mind getting stop by the police if I were speeding my way in the motorway. Yeah, I got stopped and got fined a freaking 150 bucks because I did not let the undercover cop merge into my lane.
The incident goes like this…
The car in front of me and I were travelling at a slow speed on the slowest lane on the state highway quite close to each other. I was driving slowly just because I was worried that I will subconsciously go over the speed limit and get ticketed by the police. So, to be safe I actually changed from the highest speed lane into the lowest speed lane 5 mins before then. The undercover cop was travelling at a merging lane at a considerable fast speed. He wanted to squeeze in between the two cars without signalling and the gap in between was so tiny. To avoid to emergency break and causing the car behind me hit my ass…. I maintained the same speed and past the car. Right after that, the cop stopped me and said that I was supposed to let him go and he even said that he did not have to signal to merge in.
This incident really made me wonder about the road code in this country. I remember a few years ago, my dad actually got ticketed for NOT signalling out from a merge lane into a full traffic lane. So, what is the right way??? To signal or not to signal? For me, I always signal to merge into the next traffic lane and I always travel at a slow speed to allow safe merging. But, cops told me that they don’t have to signal? I really don’t understand.
Alright, apart from the signalling, I know I have to merge like a zip! Oh well, considering three cars were travelling so close to each other and they actually have approximately 200m ahead of them before the lane ends. Why don’t they slow down and start to slowly merge in before forcing their way to merge in at the very end of the lane? I have two choices, either I break and let them merge in or I cruise through. The consequences are:
1. If I break and let them merge in:
Pros: I don’t get 150 bucks fine… clean record
Cons: The car behind me will kiss my ass…
2. If I don’t break:
Pros: My car will be alright
Cons: I got the nicest bday “offering” to the poor and needy
Being a traffic engineer myself, I would have to admit that the traffic rules, road markings and signage in this country are in a total mess. It often confuses the road users. And if you are unlucky, you will get ticketed.
Incidents like that always make me question myself… why don’t they do something better and more beneficial to the society? There are much more serious crimes in this piece of land rather than driving their nice cars and giving tickets to people that doesn’t commit any crime! I always think that travelling for an extra 10km/hr isn’t going to kill anyone in the motorway as long as they are driving safely and are not drink-driving. In fact, if you constantly check your speedometer while driving, you don’t actually 100% concentrate on driving.
So, I really think that they should go out and catch people that have commit serious crimes, for example, vandalism, stealing… etc. In a growing city like this, they should focus more on these issues rather than driving their FAST car chasing people on the motorway. -___-

People living in this city will normally encounter these incidents, if you haven’t encountered any of these incidents, you are DAMN LUCKY…
Got ticket by the police
Got your car stolen
Got your car broken into
Got your car towed away
Got your car scratched
Okay enough bitching about this issue. Don’t sound that interesting or exciting after non stop bragging about it. I’ll start writing about some tiny updates of myself apart from getting ticketed by the police.
