Recap of Year 2006

Year 2006 is my first year in Auckland;

Year 2006 is my first year being independent of family support

Blah blah blah… n the list goes on…

In conclusion, lots of happy/sad things happened in year 2006. I will remember the happy things and I’ll try not to remember the sad things as I can be really pessimistic at times. Well, I thank God that I have “survived” year 2006 and I wish that everyone around me will be healthy & happy in year 2007. =)

Happy New Years Eve… Saw fireworks at Viaduct and went to Asta Bar and Margie for the night with Heather, Marie, Janice, Marcus & Kevin! Although we had to pay lots to get into the bar, I definitely had a great time and it was my first time going clubbing with Marie!

I’ve been in the work force for exactly a year on this day. Time really flies. >.<

Currently…

Currently, I’m sitting in front of my PC (duh…) trying to concentrate on my work (Yes, W-O-R-K~) but somehow I felt like blogging because I haven’t blogged for ages, I think it’s more than a month since I last blogged.

I’m home alone now when other people are having fun enjoying their long weekend. Oh well, shouldn’t be complaining at all since I HAVE TO work longer hours these few weeks before I fly back to Malaysia due to lack of annual leave balance and some other *special* reason. Hmm… stay positive…. I’ll have my holiday break in Malaysia in two weeks time. =)

Beside working longer hours these few weeks, I’m busy packing up my stuff. Yes, we are moving… but moving all our furniture into storage before we go back to Malaysia and when we get back from Malaysia, we will move into our newly bought apartment in Newmarket. Oh gosh, can’t wait to move into the apartment. Now I have a place where I called “home” in Auckland after looking for properties for almost 2 years. Can you believe it? This is because Auckland has got lots of substandard properties lying around, especially in the so-called “blue chip locations”. And the most notorious defect in these properties is “leaky building syndrome”, which affects 99% of the plaster built houses. That’s why, to all Auckland Properties Investors, please get your property checked thoroughly before its too late.

Okay, enough bullshit from me. I’m going back to my work.
